If you’ve been reading any of my older posts and noticed there are pictures missing, it’s because I had an issue with my gallery. Somehow I clicked the wrong thing and deleted most of them. I’m slowly but surely putting them back and replacing ones I probably shouldn’t have linked to in the first place.
It’s a learning process; I sure don’t want to step on someone else’s work, but it’s hard to find things to illustrate what I want to say when there’s not much here to take pictures of. I’ve been carrying my camera around and never seem to see anything unless I’m in traffic.
So bear with me while the blog is under renovation. In the meantime, please enjoy this video of Teddy Bear the Porcupine predicting the outcome of Super Bowl 46, February 5 2012!

You need copyright free (or easily attributable) image sources m’dear? Say the word, I can get you those.
A good way to find images is to load Zemanta onto your site. They provide images and links provided to your blog content for each post. The service is free to use. Sometimes the images and links are kind of odd, but I usually find something that’s good to use without having to search for it.

I found a couple of Creative Commons sites, but if you have more ideas, please throw them my way! :)
OK, I just loaded Zemanta. Very easy to use. I added images to my last few articles, as well as the most popular ones on my site (I have 1000+ articles on my sites, so I’m definitely not going to go back and use Zemanta on all of them)
I don’t think I can do plugins, since I’m on the free WordPress. Don’t have $99 to upgrade to Pro. Too bad, because it sounds really good.

Ooh, awesome. Thanks, Lisa!
I tend to use images from Morguefile a lot on my blog.
I’ll check that out. Thanks, Wanda!
